Getting Started

This is something I have wanted to do for a while… and when I say a while, I mean almost 9 years. It’s wild, but my oldest kids are turning 9 in a little over a month and I’ve thought about sitting down and documenting more about life since before they were even born! Not sure why, but today is the day that I finally hit “go” and here we are!

Motherhood is a journey and everyone has their own path. This site is a place for me to call my own, a place for me to share my experiences, to share my struggles, and to connect. I hope you enjoy being here and look forward to sharing more with you. If I can inspire even just one person to keep going and to let them know that they are not alone, that would make me so happy. I could not have gotten to this stage of motherhood without a village and hope that I can be a part of your village as you experience your own motherhood journey!

I have wanted to be a mom as long as I can remember. From a very young age, I was always the girl with all the dolls and playing pretend mom, I was the girl who babysat every chance I could, I was the girl who was always drawn to kids at parties or events. Children bring so much joy to the world and in the chaos of motherhood sometimes we forget that. Today I am living my dream of being a mom and hope that through this blog and reflection I can continue to share, grow and appreciate the ups and downs of being a mom.
